A Better Headshell Washer
After extensive R&D on turntable headshells, we developed a solid brass tapered washer to replace the conventional rubber washer.
Positive test results inspired us to launch this washer as a standalone upgrade product, enhancing the performance of tonearms with removable headshell.

Improved Mechanical Stability:
Achieve a solid and precise fit between tonearm and headshell connectors, ensuring no wear over time and consistent alignment when disassembling and reassembling the headshell.
Improved Vibration Damping:
C36000 brass offers moderate vibration damping characteristics, providing an excellent solution for rigidity without ringing. Excessive damping can lose musical information, and brass strikes the right balance.
Improved Shielding:
Unlike rubber, brass is electrically conductive. The solid washer improves headshell electrical grounding, allowing it to act as an additional shield against hum and electrical interferences when grounded.

Our headshell washer is designed for traditional SME/Ortofon-type bayonet mounts and is fully compatible with EMT-type bayonet mounts. However, please note that some users with vintage SME tonearms, such as the SME3012R and SME3009S2 (non-improved), have reported that the washer’s thickness may prevent proper electrical contact due to the shorter pins and limited suspension travel in the tonearm connectors.
If you are using a vintage SME tonearm, slight adjustments such as careful surface grinding may be required to achieve optimal fit and contact. We are actively gathering feedback to continuously improve the design, and your input is always welcome.
